We stayed in the La Maison rooms, which are a short walk from the main hotel. The hotel in perfectly located near Place D' Quebec for D-day and Mont St. Michel tour meeting place. The breakfast was standard European hotel breakfast, nothing special. It was warm and plentiful. The coffee from a machine was good, not great. We arrived before our room was ready so they kept our luggage in reception, and it was in out room when we checked in. Thank You.

Host or concierge did not show up with key. Had difficulty finding which unit it was and only deduced it by looking at several photos. Cheap furnishings. Cleaning materials inside shower. Patio/terrace unusable and unsafe.

I am trying to update my review of La Cour Royale but the site is not letting me. I answered no breakfast - this was an answer to a Booking.com question and not a put down on the accommodation - it was a flat and I did not expect breakfast. I also put a rating of 5 out of ten for staff because this was a flat and I didn’t expect staff! I hope this clears this up. It was an excellent place to stay and would like to again.

The city is beautiful and easy to get around in by foot. We enjoyed seeing the Cathedral and The Tapestry as well as a couple restaurants and an awesome pastry shop.
Taxi service is limited (allow plenty of time to await a taxi). Uber service did not exist.

Bayeux is a lovely town and very central to all of the D Day beaches and many other interesting places related to WW2.
The town is not too big so a lot can be seen in a reasonable space of time.
The British memorial cemetery there is one of the most poignant I visited.

Our tour of the D. day beaches was very interesting and moving. The Norte Dame Cathedral de Bayeux was a highlight of the city as well as the tour of the Tapestry. Restaurants were all outstanding. We would love to go back.
Located not far from Bayeux which is a beautiful town in Normandy. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We had a lovely breakfast every morning. Although I would have liked to perhaps have been offered a boiled egg, or perhaps yoghurt and fruit. However the bread, cheese and ham was good.
Nathalie, the owner was friendly and welcoming. And she gave us information on restaurants in the area.
This property was the perfect place to base ourselves for our trips to the Normandy beaches and also to Le Mont St Michel.
Family run boutique hotel in a good location. Reasonable breakfast although the breakfast room is small and crowded when the hotel is full. The staff is personable and tries to be helpful. It seems they are presently trying to market themselves as a spa but when we booked, we it was advertised as a tourist hotel and we thought it would be a good base for travel with children in the Normandy region because it has a pool. Pool was small and children were not encouraged to be in it.
This hotel is beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. It looked out over a beautiful and well manicured garden. The entire place is lovely. A lovely We felt like we were in our own private chateau! The staff could not have been more accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure everything was to your satisfaction. The location is in walking distance to everything in town. I highly recommend it. It was the best three days of our vacation in Normandy.
Florence the owner/operator is very accommodating. Quintessential French breakfast my 21 year old daughter keeps raving about. Great location if visiting the Normandy beaches with a bonus of walking around a town with great history. The hotel was built in late 1700's. Lower your expectations if you looking for modern accoutrements. It will exceed expectations in many other ways. The room was spacious and the bathrooms are updated. Overall great stay and experience
The location is prefect for traveling around Normandy. The family who owns the house was great and would definitely go back. The owners took us on a tour of Normandy free of charge. The town of Bayeux is a quite and cute city with plenty of resources and activities. The house easily accommodated 6 of us and had a beautiful back yard. Highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to Normandy.
Location was very central to all of the Normandy sites. The facility was absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. Our hostess, Carole, was quite possibly the nicest woman in France. The breakfast was superb and included many home made (and grown) items. The stay is well worth the cost. I cannot overstate the quality and experience. I would give it more than 5 stars if such a thing existed.
This is a great hotel to serve as a base to explore Normandy and the D Day beaches. Located in town, it was an easy walk to explore Bayeau and to many restaurants. Free parking is a short walk to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Only negative is that there is no lift and the upper rooms are accessed by steep, windy stairs which could be difficult for those with mobility issues.
The location was beautiful and a few minutes from the central village, convenient to where you take tours in Normandy. The Chateaux was on a beautiful and peaceful piece of property and all of the travel amenities you would need were available. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the food was superb. It was a wonderful place to stay in this beautiful part of France.
Easy access hotel with car parking. Very friendly and helpful staff, good size and comfortable rooms.
The hotel is about 15 -20 minute walk to the city centre, so easy to see the Cathedral, Tapestry and beautiful city. The Museum is reasonably close too.
From Bayeux it is about 20-30 minutes drive to Caen and the Normandy beaches for further sightseeing.
Absolutely beautiful B&B in historic Bayeux. The location is superb, easy walk to the Cathedral, the Bayeux Tapestry Museum, restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and lovingly decorated. The best breakfast we had in Normandy, great variety to choose from and fabulous homemade pastries. A wonderful property!
The location for this property within Bayeux allowed us to travel around the Normandy coast visiting places of interest. The hosts were very accommodating and supplied us with advice and details for the area. The house was clean and functional and it had a lovely quirkiness about it with the beams and stone staircase.
What a beautiful home and setting so close to the center of Bayeux with private parking. Our host Carole was so welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast room table was beautifully set, and
everything served was outstanding.
Would stay again if we return to the Normandy coast.

Very central location, under 5 minutes walk to both the Bayeux tapestry museum and Bayeux cathedral, and walkable to the Battle of Normandy museum within 15 mins. Room was clean and sufficiently spacious with a view of the town hall and cathedral spire. Breakfast and dinner were good.
Very nice b&b in a very quiet neighborhood. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Great location close to the d-day beaches and cemeteries. The Normandy d-day museum in Bayeux was very informative.
Proximity of supermarkets and Bayeux town centre
Large shower
Dishwasher
Nice amenities like barbecue, petanque set, garden table and chairs
Electric blinds all around the windows
Really great hostel in a historical building which is very close to Bayeux town centre. Very welcoming, clean, tidy an historically interesting by itself. I'd stay here again.
Love the hotel, super cute and the location was walking distance from restaurants and local sights. If visiting Normandy beach a car is highly recommended or scheduled tours
